Constructing Supports–Network with N–TiO2 Nanofibres for Highly Efficient Hydrogen–Production of PEM Electrolyzer

Hydrogen production with a proton exchange membrane (PEM)electrolyzer utilized renewable energy power is considered to be an efficient and clean green technique, but the poor oxygen evolution performance results in high consumption low efficiency. In this work, strategy reported for construction of support network anodic catalyst layer simultaneously ameliorate its sluggish reaction kinetics mass transport order realize highly hydrogen PEM electrolyzer. After situ synthesis IrO2 nanoparticles on N–doped TiO2 nanofibers, as–prepared IrO2/N–TiO2 electrode shows substantially enhanced Ir utilization accelerated transport, consequently decreasing corresponding cell potential 107 mV relative pure at 2 A cm?2. The activity could due fact that N–TiO2 nanofiber can form porous network, endowing large reactive contact interface favorable transfer characters. work supplies pathway develop high–efficiency interfacial materials diverse applications.
